AKIRA, Tecwell. Inc, a California Corporation, having its principal place or business at 314 Stealth Court, Livermore, CA 94551 USA ("Seller") warrants all models of PDP Displays & its accessories products(the "Products") as follows
1. Limited Warranty
Under this program, Manufacturer warrants that the Products sold hereunder will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of time up to One (1) Year from the date of receipt or Products. Length of warranty is determined based upon type of use and length of use, and will be disclosed at the time of purchase. If the Products do not conform to this Limited Warranty during the warranty period (as herein above specified), Buyer shall notify Manufacturer in writing of the claimed defects and demonstrate to Manufacturer satisfaction that said defects are covered by this Limited Warranty. If the defects are properly reported to Manufacturer within the warranty period, and the defects are of such type and nature as to be covered by this warranty, Manufacturer shall, at its own expense, furnish replacement of the defective Product with comparable one or repair, at Manufacturer's option with replacement parts for the defective Products. If defective product cannot be repaired, and a comparable product is shipped to Buyer, this warranty shall be carried over for the remainder of time associated with the original product. It shall not be extended unless an Extended Warranty is purchased by the Buyer. Shipping and installation of the replacement parts shall be at Buyer's expense. All exchanged parts and products that have been replaced for the warranty service will become the Manufacturer’s property. All defective parts shall be returned to AKIRA within two weeks of receipt at the Buyers expense.
2. Other Limits
The foregoing is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchant ability and fitness for a particular purpose. Manufacturer does not warrant against damages or defects arising out of improper or abnormal use, or handling of the Products, and against defects or damages arising from improper installation (where installation is by persons other than Manufacturer or Manufacturer’s Authorized persons), against defects in products or components not manufactured by Manufacturer, or against damages resulting from such non-Manufacturer made products or components. Manufacturer passes on to Buyer the warranty it received (if any) from the maker thereof of such non-Manufacturer made products or components. This warranty also does not apply to Products upon which repairs have been affected or attempted by persons other than pursuit of a written authorization by Manufacturer. The damages or defects arising from the Act of God will not be warranted. In case of defective or dead unit as determined by a Manufacturer service representative, and unit is determined to be in need of shipping back to Manufacturer, the Manufacturer is responsible for paying only the shipping costs associated with returning the repaired unit, or returning a new or comparable unit to Buyer. All other costs associated with shipping units to Manufacturer are the responsibility of the Buyer.
Displaying the still/static images from for a long time may cause fatal damage the plasma panel. Still/static images may cause panel to “burn-in.” In addition, the sub screen of picture-in-picture mode, 4:3 screen mode, and letter box format may cause latent boundary images to “burn-in.” Repeated use of these modes may affect the image quality. Any damage resulting from abuse to the panel will not be covered by warranty. Any physical damage or scratching on the panel or bezel due to mishandling or abuse will not be covered by basic and/or extended warranty.
All products are specified with a certain numbers of dead pixels. All dead pixels are within the specified number will not be covered by the basic and/or extended warranty.
3. Exclusive Obligation
This warranty is exclusive. The sole and exclusive obligation of Manufacturer shall be to repair or replace the defective Products in the manner and for the period provided above. Manufacturer shall not have any other obligation with respect to the Products or any part thereof, whether based on contract, tort, and strict liability or otherwise. Under no circumstances, whether based on this Limited Warranty or otherwise, shall Manufacturer be liable for incidental, special or consequential damages.
4. Other Statements
Manufacturer's employees or representatives' oral or other written statements DO NOT CONSTITUTE Warranties, and shall not be relied upon by Buyer. They do not constitute as part of the contract for sale or this limited warranty.
5. Entry Obligation
This Limited warranty states the entire obligation of Manufacturer with respect to the Products. If any part of this Limited Warranty is determined to be void or illegal, the remainder shall remain in full force and effect.
6. Technical Service
Under this warranty, Manufacturer will offer technical assistance as needed via telephone. In special cases, where units cannot be returned to Manufacturer for repair, Manufacturer, or an authorized service agent, will travel to Buyers site and conduct repairs. All costs associated with travel, such as airfare, gas, meals and lodging shall be covered by the Buyer. Travel time may be charged based on destination and time required for travel. At most 3 hours of travel time may be charged as determined by Manufacturer. On-site repairs are only available for the PK8410, PK 8420 (84” Matrix Plasma Display), and MIS4201 (42” Modular Display Panel). All other products will only be repaired if shipped to Manufacturer, or to an authorized service dealer. In the event of an on-site repair, the defective unit shall be ready in a clean and accessible location before the repair technician arrives. It is the responsibility, and at the cost of the Buyer to remove all Product from installations prior to a technician arriving on-site. It is the Buyer’s responsibility, and at the Buyer’s cost, to re-install the repaired products to the original position after the repair. If unit is unavailable at specified time, the technician will begin charges according to the On-Site Repair Charge Rate in the table below.
7. Serviced Fees
The following table outlines charges associated with all repairs, whether covered under this limited warranty, an extended warranty, or if no longer covered under any warranty.
 8. Technical Note
Displaying the still images from Game machine, Banner, and Data for a long time may damage the plasma panel fatally. It is called Burn-in pixels. It is due to the nature of Phosphor in plasma screen. The sub screen of Picture-In-Picture mode, 4:3 screen mode, and Letter Box format may latent boundary images. Repeated use of these modes may affect the image quality. The long time exposure of these modes may damage the panel. It is strongly recommended to select 16:9 or 4:3 Panorama size in SD format. Some models have a “White Wiper” function, which may help to reduce the chance of burning. The panel damages that are due to the abuse of PDP will not be covered by warranty. The physical damages or scratches on the panel and bezel due to the miss-handling or abuse will not be covered by basic and/or extended warranty.
The specified sudden numbers of Dead-Pixels are acceptable. These additional dead pixels still in the specified number will not be covered by the basic and /or extended warranty.

Extended Performance Guaranty Program - Billable Under this program, Seller warrants that the Products sold hereunder will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period up to two (2) years in addition to basic warranty period of one (1) year. All warranties will commence from the date of purchase. To validate this program, warranty must be purchased when the products are purchased. This program overrides the Basic or Special Warranty, and begins on date of purchase and is valid for the period of the Warranty Program plan purchased. The program offered is valid for up to two (2) years of extended warranty coverage.
If the Products do not conform to the Warranty during the warranty period (as herein above specified), Buyer shall notify Seller in writing of the claimed defects and demonstrate to Manufacturer satisfaction that said defects are covered by this Extended Warranty. If the defects are properly reported to Seller within the warranty period, and the defects are of such type and nature as to be covered by this warranty, Seller shall, at its own expense, furnish replacement of the defective Product with comparable one or repair, at Seller's option with replacement parts for the defective Products. The removal and reinstallation of the replacement Products shall be at Buyer's expense. In case of replacement, Buyer shall agree to the replacement product before shipping. When Buyer receives the replacement, the defective unit shall be placed into the replacement unit container and shipped back to the Seller. AKIRA will be responsible for one way shipping. Details and instructions for returning products for warranty service are available at www.akiradisplay.com, or contact us for details. This warranty covers ONLY parts and labor for the covered products. Any repairs needing a glass panel replacement or repairs to the panel itself will not be covered by the Billable Extended Performance Guaranty Program.

The damages or defects arising from Acts of God will not be warranted. The billable extended warranty excludes coverage for glass panels. This includes issues such as burn in, line open, line short and dead COF and/or dead pixels.
3. Exclusive Obligation This warranty is exclusive. The sole and exclusive obligation of Seller shall be to repair or replace the defective Products in the manner and for the period provided above. Seller shall not have any other obligation with respect to the Products or any part thereof, whether based on contract, tort, strict liability or otherwise.
